I finally finished taking my hair down! Boy was that a battle, but I had average shedding nothing major. I washed my hair with Aphogee Shampoo for damaged hair, folled that with the two step protein treatment and balancing mosturizer, then the two minute reconstructor and finally I deep conditioned. I did my own mix of ORS Replenishing pak with JBCO (Jamaican Black Castor Oil) and Honey
. I sat under the dryer with this on my hair for about 20 minutes and rinse it out as usual and my hair felt great! Well thats it for now.

And The Take Down Begins
So I said I wasn't going to take these braids down for another 3 weeks but I have to take them down today. I took 1 braid out because my neighbor wanted to practice her flat ironing skills; well she accidentally got a few of my other braids in the way of the flat iron. Well the synthetic hair melted. So as I took the melted braids down I feel my hair is very dry and brittle. So I decided I must Take the braids down and baby my hair. I plan on washing, doing a protein treatment, DC'ing. I will do a video on the washing process and upload it to YouTube for all to see. Keep an eye out for the upcoming post and video!!
Also here are some new pics (clearer)

Reason for this Blog
I decided to use this blog for all to see my hair journey. I am relaxed and currently in micro braids. My laptop is down so for now I wont have a lot of pictures to upload but as soon as I get my laptop back (hopefully next week) I will upload pictures. I am almost 8 weeks post relater and I do not plan on relaxing again until late August! Yes that is correct I am currently on a 6 month stretch!
I planned on taking these braids out on Monday but after looking at http://braids4grow.blogspot.com I decided to keep them in until a couple of days before my son's birthday May 17.
Well that's it for now, I will keep this blog updated so stay tuned!!
